Snapchat Introduces its New Snap Features

Snapchat added a new set of features: unlimited Snap viewing time, emoji drawing, the ‘Magic Eraser’ tool, and video looping.

1. The Limitless Snaps

• You will be able to remove the 10-second viewing time limit. You can select the infinity loop that will allow the recipient to view your snaps as many as they want. As explained by Snapchat, “We’ve all felt the frustration of not being able to fully enjoy a Snap – even after replaying it – and we wanted to give you the option of allowing the recipient to enjoy your Snap as long as they’d like. After your friend finishes viewing the Snap and taps to close it, it will delete as usual.”

1. Snap Loops

• Users will have the option to loop their videos. Yes, that definitely sounds like Instagram’s ‘Boomerang’, right? So that’s how it’s going work. You just have to click the “Loop” icon at the right of the screen.

1. The Emoji Drawing Option

• Last Christmas, Instagram released a tool that enabled users to draw a candy cane on their Stories. So now, Snapchat’s new emoji option is somewhat similar. But, you can choose an emoji as a brush and drag it around your snap, then you can draw anything you want.

1. The Magic Eraser

• This new tool is something like an automated photoshop-style editing tool. If you want to remove anything from your image, you just have to select the “Magic Eraser” and cut it out. Then let it do the magic, the object will be blurred until the surrounding image content covers the gap.
